COMBINATIONAL MODEL / EXPERIMENT EIGHT

The combinatorial model now uses a more refined structural language and implementation for each module. The truss is built accurately, its diagonal bracing oriented according to the forces. The joists are placed according to specified joints in the truss, which occur at both the floor and ceiling of each module. Finally, the floor is placed in the module, making it inhabitable. The joists meet the trusses tightly, and the module is wrapped in fabric, holding it together very solidly.
