Our project delves into the realm of equilibrium, combining compression and tensile forces in a harmonious dance of triangles and continuous moves. Our base is a 30x30cm wooden board, but what lies upon it is a testament to the beauty and strength of structural engineering.
Our concept revolves around the elegant simplicity of triangles. Triangles, with their inherent stability, form the basis of our design. These triangles, of varying sizes, are arranged in captivating patterns, each layer interlocking with the next. The key lies in the continuous movement of connected triangles, creating a dynamic equilibrium that is as visually stunning as it is structurally sound. To further explain, the triangles are oriented so the vertical forces can move continuously through each triangle between the layers, that act very transparent. Each layer in the design is held on different orientations perpendicular to each supporting element providing stability to horizontal forces in two directions.
